Things have gone insane...The woman in the video sounds like she's in shock.

Yeah, I'm not surprised. You can't go around killing people and expect them not to retaliate. Where the fuck does that happen. Take all human life seriously.  The only way to make things better is a systematic change in the way the police operate.  This shooting is a crime and the perps should be prosecuted but when a police officer kills an unarmed person they should also be held accountable.  Until all life is respected expect ths to continue on both sides. 

What's happening?

I think it's important to point out 2 things.

1. The protests had been peaceful up until the two suspects started shooting.

2. The other day  a 19 year old white kid was shot by police while lying on the ground after being pulled over. This is not just a race problem.

So wait, they think killing cops (who btw had nothing to do with the other two shootings) will some how resolve anything? Human stupidity knows no bounds I guess.

Even when a white officer shoots a black man, that doesn't automatically mean race played a role.

I know, I just think it's important to make that clear. Some people are going to make a racial connection anytime this happens, but I think it's important to remember that even though this does happen to black people a disproportionate amount of the time. This is a police issue above all else.

This solves nothing and makes the situation worse. They're only going to make the police more militarized if they feel their jobs are combat hazards now. People were protesting in peace, but it seems a few are ready to fight a war they can't win.

In Castile's case, is there footage anywhere showing what occurred BEFORE the shooting?

nope, eventually they could release the dash cam but i don't know if it will help that much.
