Forums - Nintendo - Pokemon Go will be available at midnight TONIGHT

ANZ master race
Finally found a mobile game I might keep playing for some time.

Download it. Got a bulbasaur starter... It didn't seem like I could choose either. Also caught a weedle and goldeen. Zubats are everywhere but it's near midnight here in Australia. I'll give it some more time tomorrow. Have no opinion on it atm.

I thought you liked pokemon?

I do, but I don't like lame games they didn't even try with, and I don't like Nintendo wasting effort supporting anything other than real games on real gaming platforms. I know that the purpose is to advertise their real games, but they somehow managed to make this game even more shallow than the gen1 games so it's a very poor representation.

Don't go wandering around Australia at midnight looking for Zubats.

Nah you could choose. After creating your character all 3 starters are like showing on the map. But my brother also made a mistake of accidentally choosing bulbasaur. I think Bulbasaur is somehow placed in a position where your thumb or finger would touch the screen first.

Pocky Lover Boy!

Today? This needed way more advertisement and build up. I don't care about Go because I buy the mainline ones, but the mobile market will love this, but they have to know this exists.

You know it deserves the GOTY.
