Forums - Microsoft - Alan Wake September release debunked

http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=185608

Remedy Entertainment has denied earlier internet speculation that Alan Wake will be released in September of this year.

Earlier reports indicated that the psychological thriller from the Finland-based Max Payne developer would be coming out this autumn, after numerous delays and postponements.

Moderators and Remedy employees have since addressed the rumour on the game's official forums, claiming that the information came from a retailer and that these sources were unreliable, at best.

As a consolation for those disappointed individuals who wish to partake in their own slice of Twin Peaks-inspired small town horror, we'd suggest taking a look at PC Zone's preview.

Man, is this game ever coming out? Smells almost like Duke Nuke'Em Forever...
I'm actually excited about this title, and the first showing was like E3 2005 or something!

I smell vaporware. Too bad, I loved Max Payne and really want to play this game.

Cheer up, my porcine pal.  In addition to Alan Wake, I have Sadness on my wish list.

At least we've got footage and screenshots of Alan Wake.

Is wayne brady gonna have too........

"Back off, man. I'm a scientist."

Your theories are the worst kind of popular tripe, your methods are sloppy, and your conclusions are highly questionable! You are a poor scientist. Especially if you think the moon landing was faked.

Much like STALKER, this game might not be so technically impressive when it arrives, due to the delays.
