The PS3 really doesn't have a great library, doesn't have a good library, or a decent library. Basically it has a very poor library. I am sorry but this is what they have to show for fifteen months, and an extra year to get their shit together. This isn't acceptable by any standard. The shot may be low, but it sure as hell is true. That is why it stings so much a few decent titles really do not change the situation. I am sure for those that own the machine it must have seemed like a massive leap in library quality, but from the outside it looked like a little blip on the radar. You have to see it for what it really is Microsoft has thirty and Sony scraped together three. None of which received incredible accolades. To them it is basically nothing. Hopefully the rest of this year Sony will start to shine enough to not be worthy of such scathing remarks. However they aren't really there yet. Prologue is a good first step, but let us hope the delay station effect doesn't materialize again this year. |
