You actually got a really good point there, it does actually provide a very good explaination. People are scared that their console of choice will dissappear and they just can't deal with the emotions to avoid other fanbases poking ''Doom'' into their reality.

Dude, there are around tons of 'Hidden effect's'' in basically every psychological toxic enviroment's, like toxic relationships, parent's and so on!
At least when your aware, you can actually try to fight it!
