I've seen people complaining that all Sony games "look the same," that the conference was bad because it was too short, that they're copying TLoU with everything, that "one game beat Sony's whole conference," that they only care about visual and not game-play. And you're telling me that you didn't see any of that? Insecurity, huh? Heh. That would be more like the Angry Joe Top 10 thread, where people were saying Zelda wasn't on the list "because he hates Nintendo", as though everyone has to like it or they're wrong. That, actually, would be a great example of insecurity. |
Tbh Joe hasn't shown nor detailed his history with Nintendo over the years he's been broadcasting on YT. The only recent time he ever tried to do anything Nintendo related was when he clearly wanted to make money off of a Nintendo LP, Ninty shut that attempt down and Joe threw a massive fit and swore off Nintendo since then. I've been watching Joe since his early days and he has hardly mentioned nor cared much for Nintendo so I can attest to him making a big fit as to why he isn't bothering to list anything from them. I like his content but Joe is very much a guy who gets arrogant when he cannot make money from anything he streams, he gets very, very emotional about not getting what he wants streaming wise.
What I want to know is why we're seeing more threads popping up on Sony game views and how Nintendo viewing data is all "skewed" and "fake", this isn't me painting a picture for you btw, this is actually happening right now, you see both sides paint you a picture on a single canvas and you alone will also decide who is doing what, we are all biased creatures so lets not pretend we are above anything else. One side posted data and the other called it fake, then the ones who called a bluff ended up doing the same, that can also be an example of insecurity, that you need to call the other side fake, then rally your own information to show that your side isn't fake in case you are called out for it, that initially stems from being insecure to begin with.
Also I'd like to add that in the two years I have been on this site, there has been a lot of negative news being posted by various suers who in the past have voiced their displeasure of a particular brand or two, one user of which has been banned multiple times for crossing the line with their bias getting a bit too out of control that their tongue slips and the hammer falls, there is no denying that people do this out of insecurity, that they need to constantly put others down to make themselves feel better. Each time I visit this site I see at least 1-2 good bits of news for Nintendo and MS, then the rest goes straight downhill from there on, again no picture is being skewed, bad information that displays a negative reaction or tells of negativity is objectively bad news, there is no excusing bad news when it is posted, however it can be easily related to one trying to post bad news to make it appear as though a few sides simply cannot catch a break, which is something that seems to happen on a near daily basis here for the two years I've been with the site.
Call me biased but when I see bad news, I see bad news. I see the user and the picture paints itself without me having to touch the brush, for they paint on the canvas willingly themselves.
