Isn't play games on PC with a controller pretty common? Just goes to show how little they know about the PC market

How would he know? The PC gaming market in Japan is irrelevant in already shrinking dedicated gaming market. It'd be like criticizing a Japanese dev for not knowing the intricacies of what Xbox 1 users do despite never have made a Xbox 1 game before. A lot of these PC ports aren't even released in Japan at all, they're done specifically for the West after the game is completed. That's why they have delays.

Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,

Good news, now I'll have the chance to buy it as I currently don't plan to buy the PS4.

But I agree that the part where he asked about PC and gamepads was weird.

Please excuse my bad English.

Former gaming PC: i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Current gaming PC: R5-7600, 32GB RAM 6000MT/s (CL30) and a RX 9060XT 16GB

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

Excusing a Japanese dev with the old "I live in a bubble/under a rock, therefore I don't have to acknowledge the outside world" is a really poor excuse btw for anyone who wishes to defend refusal to learn more about the gaming world outside of Japan, the world does and never will revolve around that county, if you don't know anything outside then start learning, billions do this every waking day, there is zero excuse not to learn about something new every day.
