This is great - he pretty much confirmed a late release which is great.

 

Now I just hope they port the other 4 titles to PC specifically SO1 , SO2 and SO3.

Well at least those three are playeable on PC. ;) And I never finished SO4 because it was not what I thought it'd be. But, this game is looking to be turning out nicely, and I'd definitely love to play it with aboosted framerate and image-quality on my PC. I can wait the extra year (or however long it takes them) too. Plenty of other great games to enjoy before then. :D

Sounds like a good deal to me, though him asking a question and just going with what he's given makes him sound slightly gullible, like someone could say "no PC is the worst place and platform to put your games on" and he might just believe rather than question what was said to him. It makes sense for SE to expand it's IP's to PC like it's been doing already with F, I just hope they actually bother to do a good job.

But still - wouldnt mind buying them ;O!

 

Havent played SO4 yet either - was planning to but FFXV, KH 2.8 and Pokemon Sun/Moon are so close that I feel like I might not have time to finish SO5 by the time they come by ;p - maybe....

 

And ya plenty of other games to get before this comes to PC - also great for me cause I can use the money I was gonna use to buy SO5 for PS4 for other games on PS4.

Star Ocean 4 was pretty decent. (Got it on the 360.) It had it's flaws though, never did finish it, lost interest near the end.
I would probably play it again if it had a PC release.

Good time to be a PC gamer in my opinion.

Eventually everything ends up on PC, if you like waiting a long time to play these games then that's fine. I personally couldn't wait a year or two to pick this up.
