I think we know why Nintendo delayed NX and Zelda BoTW to March. So they could avoid this mixed with Black Friday.

But seriously, this is crazy. The game is simply stunning. I'd be running too. I swear I have been this excited about any game in my entire life. I'm a Dragon Quest fan and I'm more excited about this than Dragon Quest VII, VIII or XI.

I agree.  I haven't been this excited for a game since Final Fantasy VII when I was an impatient child.

At first I was extremely disappointed at the fact that NIntendo chose to focus E3 on BotW alone but after seeing the game, the reception and the desperation of people at E3 to demo the game, it looks like Nintendo made the right call.  And just think; while everyone else already got their E3, Nintendo fans are still going to get their real E3 later in the year when the NX is unveiled.

I know right? I hope NX is as engaging as Nintendo says it's going to be.

As much as the delay is annoying they made the right choice is making it an NX launch title going by the impact the game had on E3, I reckon the game can also become the best selling Zelda title as some of the features are very monster hunter and DQ like which could boost interest in Japan.

"Last time this happened was when Nintendo unveiled the Wii for the public at E3 2006." Wow

Actually, I was watching some GameSpot E3 coverage and one of the guys who was at that 2006 e3 said this is even bigger.  The Wii line topped out at ~6 hours.  The Zelda line topped out at ~8 hours yesterday, despite having 117 demo kiosks set up.  And it only stopped at 8 cause that's where they capped it.

Nintendo may have lost the larger war of E3 with the Nintendo brand as a whole not grabbing much mind share.  But they definitely won a significant victory with Zelda which is now on the minds of a huge number of people.

Do you have a Link to thay Gamespot statement? Or can I find in youtube?

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

And I thought amusement park lines were bad.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

This is what happens when your game looks like a dream come true for gamers. Impressive.

Don't even start... this gets me so hyped! To think in a couple of months we'll not only have a full blowout on the console but also get to see the next gen iterations of many Nintendo franchises is extremely exciting! Also... Breath of the Wild probably running/looking better on NX! Can't wait...!

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Oh I'm sorry, it was 170 playable Zelda stations.  Here's the video at the point of the statement.  Not a great discussion, none of them had played it yet so most are just geeking out with the rest of us but the bit about the crowd is pretty insane.

Pretty crazy, wonder if they all got a chance to play it..
