Here's an idea: How about, just for once, we examine the list on the XB1 and decide what should be there and what shouldn't? Wouldn't that be great! Let's put the XB1 games under the microscope because quite frankly ... I'm getting sick of this. Every single thread for the last 2 and a half years that's been posted to decide which console had the most exclusives was full to the brim with reasons why the list on the PS4 should be reduced. Either it was 'also on PC', 'also on another Sony platform' or 'was just an Indie, and most people who made those threads obliged. NOW APPLY THAT SAME RULE HERE.

PS4 7
XB1 0

Deal with it because I didn't make this rule, YOU did.

Oh please, calm down. Why limit it to the last 2 1/2 years? I remember last gen being told great games like Battleblock, State of Decay, Mark of the Ninja, etc et didnt count because they werent AAA retail games.

I cant think of a thread where the OP was asked to remove a PS4 game because it was also on PC where they hadnt already excluded an Xbone game that was also on the PC :)

Small games and Indies didn't count until 2013.

There is a bunch of miscommunication there. I think where it says "new IP" it actually means "new game we hadn't heard about" because God of war isn't a new IP and neither is RE7 and crash.

New ip could mean games we heard about that are also new ip i.e Horizon, The last guardian

Well yeah i know but i was just trying to interpret the actual meaning. Because the rules in the OP kind of states that God of War shouldn't be listed because it isn't a new IP but its not a game we already knew about either.

God of war isn't part of the new ip but it was a newly announced game.

But if you look at the graphs you can see that the definition isn't consistent yet the numbers are.

It should be more clear like.

New ip's + new announcements & already announced + already released.
