Forums - Website Topics - New game database format...

Well I like the tables with the figures from each region.  But it would be nice to have the graphs back, at least the line graph with weekly sales from each region.

^I edited my last post for more reasons why I like the new system.

I really like GT5:p site that worked well. And I think it was a god of war one that i liked. the boxes were black the font was crimson and the background was of kratos.

Yeah, I worked on both of those games.

Thanks!

And what did you think of Uncharted? I consider that some of my best work.

As for the new pages, I'm getting used to them. It's just that they're missing a lot of features, and colors too.

The pages are kind of boring. It doesn't really give you a feel for the games. One of the huge advantages for the other system was the distinction you had from game to game.

(Uncharted was good.)

EDIT: Yakuzaice I'd agree with you if the chart stopped at the peak of the games existence, but since each game has a different life span and growth rate I find it better to take away. The chart got redundant at the point it was just a line across the box. You couldn't tell how many weeks it took to reach its peak and it was cluttered and slow.

I agree, the games defenitly have less of a individual personality like they did before.

I thought the Total sales in big numbers and then the first three weeks below was a good and easy system.

A lot of the game summaries seem to have been crushed by the new formatting.

I definitely miss the old pages. I have no love for the new look. I see no way to edit or add anything to the pages. The game database was one of two main reasons I was here. The only reason I wanted to get 100 posts was to add and edit games. The change kind of killed it for me.

I really know how you feel.

Those who are here just for sales love it because they couldn't give less of a damn about anything.

I'm glad ioi got rid of Montana's horrid designs :) but I can't say I like the new layout of the pages. Its far from finished though, obviously.

Didn't ioi say there would be reader reviews and a bunch of other crap too?

 Yup. Most everyone is overreacting.

You're always trying to annoy me.

Frankly, sexual awkwardness would suffice, but no!

And to be honest Quigon, I'm sure it will look better in the future, but right now the pages are crapparoni.
