Nah. Nintendo won E3 hands down. All the games I saw from Sony were pretty much the same with little tweaks. GoW looked like TLOU with vikings. Horizon looked like TLOU with bigger space and robot dinosaurs. Then there's the biker TLOU with zombies. Its like Sony pointed all their studios at ND and said 'See that? Make more of that!' and we all got cookie cutter 3rd person games as a result.

I'll grant that GoW looked like Last of Us combat, which was supremely disappointing, but Horizon and Ride To Hell: Zomietribution looked nothing like LoU. LoU combat was all about taking cover in generally tight, enclosed spaces, so bigger areas kind of automatically disqualifies that (not to mention robot dinosaurs). Meanwhile, that biker game looks like third person Walking Dead Survival Instinct or maybe Uncharted with the enemy count multipled to infinity; LoU was never about mowing down hordes of enemies as they all charged you.

O/T: I haven't really seen any footage yet, but if it turns out to look really good, Nintendo could easily win. Sony's presentation had quite a few games, but none of them except for Horizon stood out as anything more than "meh." Show off all the games you want, but you don't get any points unless they actually look good (and, for the record, a cutscene of naked Norman needlessly nurturing a nude newborn on the beach is not "looking good.")

...Nintendo fans are pretty weird imo

The ironic thing is that they seem to be the first to say that other companies reuse a formula too much... Weird

They have just showed probably the most different game of the saga in decades and you are talking about reusing formulas, oh the irony.

And good work making a generalization and calling an entire comunity weird, very classy.

Well i geuss i must have a terrible taste then coz i think it won purely on that 3 minute trailer ;)

its not that bad, you at least didnt think EA won.

No bad game showing? RE 7 was horrible.

Jesus Christ. Enough. I am so sick of people invalidating others' opinions on this forum. And we're all guilty of it.

If you believe in one thing, make your case. If someone makes a different case, engage with it using your own rationale and supporting evidence. We need to stop treating opposing viewpoints as trash.

Your opinion doesn't count because you're biased.
Your opinion doesn't count because nostalgia.
Your opinion doesn't count because of sales.
Your opinion doesn't count because of Metacritic.
Your opinion doesn't count because you have bad taste.
Your opinion doesn't count because you're in the minority.
Your opinion doesn't count because you have a Kratos/Master Chief/Zelda avatar.

Please, let's treat each other with a modicum of respect. Let's give each other the benefit of the doubt.

Oh I just don't mean the combat. I mean story driven 3rd person games that are supposed to get us emotionally involved instead of playing a game. Its just that there are different wrinkles. One is biker zombies. The other is robot dinosaurs. The biker zombie game almost felt like I was watching a lifetime movie at one point.

In a way, we all win. We all get see games we would like to play.

We have to agree on something though, your opinion doesn't count if you think RE 7 is a good game showing.

Seriously guys, that game looked bad.

Zelda looks amazing. For me, it was the best game this E3 and it looks far more interesting than Horizon, seeing people here are really adamant to compare those games.

But Sony won E3 by far. They had by far the best conference and really cared about their fans. Great presentation and fantastic game line-up.
Nintendo spit at its fans this E3.
