You arent a fan of the franchise like you claim if you havent played it since 10, there are like 4 games you have missed. How do you know they are bad if you havent played them?

So having special fights like these is better to be removed completley? Why? its better than in most games, i havent seen such fights in the Witcher or Dragon Age for example who share the same combat.

how does it look like shit if it has the best graphics from the entire E3 lineup so far which i have seen? And it played like the Witcher 3 or any other western RPG, tough i cant recall seeing fights against Giants in those games

I didn´t say that, I said that the last FF I really enjoyed was FFX, not that it was the last FF I played....anyway, I´m not really into online gaming, so FFXI and FFXIV didn´t do anything for me (and I tried them), and I didn´t 'feel' FFXII and FFXIII, they felt pretty 'meh' compared to FFX and the SNES/PS1 era FFs.

give me  examples what a good AAA RPG should be, tell me some games

First demo had performance issues > recent demo had performance issues > footage from the E3 demo had performance issues.

Sure, i might be wrong. But you can't blame me from concluding the obvious.

And if i wasnt planning to give it a chance i wouldn't even had played the demo. Jeust food for thought.

Btw, if theres anymosity it's becuase you are still trying to tell us something that isn't really clear for everyone that watched that presentation. Just come to terms with it. The game performed horribly on that demo and theres no hiding that.

The demos of the actual game showcased improvements in recent builds and footages. The platinum demo wasn't even part of the actual game and was made separately. Something that you seem to ignore, still. The e3 demo showed no performance issues but merely a terrible player struggling to find out what the hell he is doing on stage. The stream on the vid linked on this thread isn't exactly a good one which made it look like the game wasn't performing perfectly.

Other streams show a perfectly smooth gameplay footage.

Nothing more unsightly than someone saying i didn't see something i saw with my own eyes.

All i hear are excuses. The game will come out soon and we will see who was right. People can spend their mony at their own risk, but i predict a disaster.

I really hope i'm wrong though. I don't want this series to end.

I must say that the trailer that was shown at Sony conference was fantastic. Much better than the chaotic live demo. The VR integration seems unessesary and pointless though.

Gamers 'are the most whiniest, knee jerk crybabies on fucking planet.

So there was no technical problems, but a low quality stream. If you watch the yyoutube footage its fluid. That trailer sucked absolute donkey dick because or a live footage presentation. SE kicked themselves in the ass with that.

Rofl, "here's our demo, watch this guy get his ass kicked"

I donno, I thought it looked awesome in terms of the visuals but the combat is not what I was hoping for in a Final Fantasy game.

It looked like the end of a boss fight.  Let's be real here: Would you rather want this kind of fight to drag on or have it end quickly?  Action RPG boss battles tend to go one of these two ways and this was the better of the two.

Like I said before it's worth mentioning that this is a very specific type of boss battle as well: A Summon fight.  Most boss fights in FFXV won't be this large in scale I'm sure.

Well i should clarify that I'm still getting this game as it looks like they've worked their asses off on it and, even there, the fight was cool and visuals great... As you said, if this is just a specific type of boss battle I actually think it'd be cool to mix things up a bit so long as the combat is usually a tad more conventional.

DId you even watch the video I linked? It looks like you didn't. It is significantly smoother than the one linked in the OP. The one in the OP had lag and was choppy while the one I linked was smooth all throughout.
