There's absolutely nothing wrong with the Iron Giant fight in the Platinum demo. Maybe you didn't like the whole child part but that last fight showed how great the battle system will be.

Yes, there is. Massive FPS drops and lack of responsiveness.

Sure, if you don't know how to play.

Oh yes... i'm sure that is the problem.

Hey if you want to look at in in pink rosed glasses go ahead. But everyone can see from the demo's and footage that the game doesn't perform well. The fact that you admit the FPS drop but not the responsiveness says you don't even know what you are talking about.

Enjoy your game. But don't expect me to sugarcoat it just to please you.

It looks like a fucking mess. Expected.

I'm now filled with determination.

This demo was garbage.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

roflmao so much animosity. As if you were ever really willing to give the game a chance. Please.

You're the one extrapolating the performance of a demo from an old build to the full game. You said with full confidence that the final game was "going to perform badly and play flawedly".

But I'm the one who doesn't know what he's talking about.

First demo had performance issues > recent demo had performance issues > footage from the E3 demo had performance issues.

Sure, i might be wrong. But you can't blame me from concluding the obvious.

And if i wasnt planning to give it a chance i wouldn't even had played the demo. Just food for thought.

Btw, if theres anymosity it's because you are still trying to tell us something different from what is really clear for everyone that watched that presentation. Just come to terms with it. The game performed horribly on that demo and theres no hiding that.

The demo was garbage. The last FF I really enjoyed was FFX, which came out 14 years ago. I was hoping this one would restore my enjoyment of this franchise, but I got a feeling it won´t happen.Hope I´m wrong.

You arent a fan of the franchise like you claim if you havent played it since 10, there are like 4 games you have missed. How do you know they are bad if you havent played them?

Horrible demo. I don't think its down to the player but simply the fact that FFXV combat clearly isn't built around in-game set pieces or at least not a towering foe like Titan. In context of the game these moments will be rare, acceptabe but messy,it was certainly not stage worthy. Probably MS asked and this is the bone SE threw them.

So having special fights like these is better to be removed completley? Why? its better than in most games, i havent seen such fights in the Witcher or Dragon Age for example who share the same combat.

Looks like shit.
Played like shit too.

how does it look like shit if it has the best graphics from the entire E3 lineup so far which i have seen? And it played like the Witcher 3 or any other western RPG, tough i cant recall seeing fights against Giants in those games

I didn´t say that, I said that the last FF I really enjoyed was FFX, not that it was the last FF I played....anyway, I´m not really into online gaming, so FFXI and FFXIV didn´t do anything for me (and I tried them), and I didn´t 'feel' FFXII and FFXIII, they felt pretty 'meh' compared to FFX and the SNES/PS1 era FFs.

The demos of the actual game showcased improvements in recent builds and footages. The platinum demo wasn't even part of the actual game and was made separately. Something that you seem to ignore, still. The e3 demo showed no performance issues but merely a terrible player struggling to find out what the hell he is doing on stage. The stream on the vid linked on this thread isn't exactly a good one which made it look like the game wasn't performing perfectly.

Other streams show a perfectly smooth gameplay footage.

The gameplay  here seems wayyyyyyy better than the youtube stream.  Like I said before, the guy playing the demo was just plain bad.
