Is there really that much of a difference anyways.

Nintendo still doomed?
Feel free to add me on 3DS or Switch! (PM me if you do ^-^)

I would go with an Intel 45nm Processor. Probably a E8400. Cooler, cheaper, faster.
Normally I would say AMD, but with them changing sockets so often I no longer recommend them. My next CPU will be an Intel.

@ kenzo )
uhm the first graph only shows the notebook chips from AMD (Turion) and the second has AMD on top (less seconds = better), so why do you come to the conclusion "intel" ?
@ cool48 )
the intels are better right now (~5% in gaming performance - in encoding/decoding/other applications the AMDs are about at the same level or better than the intels), but I still like the AMDs better, for they use less power
if you plan to use a costly high performance graphics cards you should use an intel to maximize it's performance, but if you use a mid-range card the graphics performance should be virtually the same

Yes this was also something that I was looking at but Intel hasn't changed in a long time. I hope I won't buy a socket 775 and then they're gonna change on me.

Intel. Thats a no brainer for me.

I came to the conclusion because Intel has the best preformance for the software I use.
