But a ton of the news is being revealed st the build up to e3... the reason we're getting all the news now instead of months ago is because e3 is clearly still relevant. The news is being revealed now because of e3, just because it's not on the actual day doesn't mean e3 isn't relevant. Though more as an actual global event then the actual convention itself, maybe the convention is dwindling in significance but what e3 is has grown beyond that as evident by the amount of news that comes out around e3 time but not at the convention.

So e3 is becoming more of a time period than a convention

But you know what, I wished I had had it revealed to me for the first time while watching E3, so to avoid ruining anymore surprises I'm not visiting any gaming websites (although I might reply to a few people on this thread today).

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.
