Idk, you already have surprise announcements, I don't think you need to make it a surprise that you have surprise announcements and generate negative pr in doing so.

Well I'm much more excited to watch Treehouse now that the schedule is filling out a bit. Also I'm holding out for some surprises here and there.

But what about any new games?

One can only imagine.. :/

Maybe some 3DS game, for everything else we will need to wait NX reveal.

Yep! Thats what I've been saying as well. But nope. People want to see what they want to see.

Of course it would not only show one game. There are a few upcoming Wii U and 3DS games that needed coverage.

After you damage your own image with endless internet rant. It's nowhere near a smart move.

If anyone at Nintendo planned this, he/she deserves to be fired asap.

I want to believe that they changed their mind in the last minute, which is encouraging. Also, if NX was delayed (nothing confirmed, just pointing at some speculation) maybe it is because they are adding/fixing something because they listened to their fans.

In the end, this announcement is good.

I doubt they will have one outside of small projects like MP11. But the Treehouse won't be that bad: Pokemon + Zelda + Mobile (Pokemon Go) + MH Generations + Dragon Quest VII.

We'll also have the comedy segment with Federation Force and Color Splash.

Plus, at the end of the year we could have another event.

But this announcement of surprise games I think some would consider to be a good thing.
