Forums - Gaming - Persona 5’s Animated Scenes Are Made By Production I.G

Ghost in the shell ?! Ever since the reveal of Persona 5, we’ve all been impressed by the animated scenes shown in its trailers, and today it’s been officially revealed that Production I.G is in fact the studio behind its making.

Production I.G has previously worked with many high profile video game series, most notably for the Tales of series, so we can definitely expect to see more quality scenes for the upcoming RPG.

Production IG is behind the animated scene of Kill Bill and the ";" adaptations so I'm excited.
P3 had quality cutscenes too.

Psycho Pass too. If you've watched that anime the character models' artstyles are identical.

Yeah, it was cool, but made no sense, though.
About that time he was still just a guy who knows nothing about anything in the middle of an out of this world mess, then suddently he let go a maniac grin out of nowhere and call his Persona that way by shoting yourself, it sure was cool, but made no actual sense.

I mean, did he just went insane because you're about to bet on his life to shot yourself to try to summon a Persona? Could be, but that grin was for sure of someone who knew very were what he was going to do and was already enjoying the outcome of it, like a real maniac XP

Well, considering he summons Thanatos right then and there, I always figured there was some unspoken mental influence there.

The guy doesn't have a personality but a mere role, which is a reccuring element in persona games. He starts having a personality as the player makes choices and gets involved, and choices become obvious to the player by the end game. Which is always part of the plot.

?Why not Studio Pixy

That's nice and all, but he does have expressions on his own, and that grin is very clearly set apart from anything up to that point with no clear reason behind it, it was like 'now I'm a bad guy' out of nowhere, as if he already was well versed on Personas and enjoyed kicking ass (to not say murder, because that grin is maniac) with it.

That is a cool scene, but it's completely out of the blue.

The apparition of Thanatos makes it pretty clear it's not the protagonist but Nyx though.
