So Naughty Dog has stated that this will be the last Uncharted game (again). They seemed to be a bit more adamant this time but do we really think that it will be after that ending?
First of all I just want to say I thought the ending to Uncharted4 was perfect in my opinion, there were rumours that Nate might be killed off but that would of been a big mistake, he's too much of a likeable character. So instead they've retired him from his illegal treasure hunting (which he thrives on) and now treasure hunts legally, therefore he stills get the adventure he wants without the chance of death to himself and having to kill hundreds of bad dudes.
More to the point now Is, they have introduced a new character; Cassie, Nathan and Eleanor's daughter who like Nate and Eleanor is massively into her adventure and exploration and can climb (her posters around her room show this) she's also into her archeology and history and basically is just as curious as Nate and Sam were when they were younger. Before the credits roll She discovers Nates secret stash of illegal adventure stuff and this only makes her more curious.
I can't help feel that adding Cassie into the story is Naughty Dogs way of giving themselves something to come back to, they've said how much they enjoy making Uncharted games and I feel they've added Cassie so they can come back but with a fresh protagonist and keeping it close to Nathan Drake, hell he can even still be in the next ones.
So what do you think about it? You reckon they're done or do you think they're just playing again and are planning on making Cassie the next Nate?
