Yeah I trust Sony Santa Monica to make the right decision for the series, they've never let me down, even Ascension being the weakest entry, it was still a great game. Kind of which they handled the story better though, I found the multiplayer fun, but I'd rather have an amazing story then a fun multiplayer for such a story-centric game.

2 was definitely the best of original mainline games on the PS1, 3 was also really good because of Nemesis but 2 was still better.

The game focused too much more on action than the actual horror elements. I do want them to have a mix of both the old and new. Make the game play fluid like 6, but also add what made RE great in the first place, suspense and tension. Re3 was sweet too yeah, Nemesis got me good a few times xD

Ascension is a great game, it's just not as epic as the other GoWs we had from SM.

And that's what I meant, I want to have a good melee system but not so effective, I also want the characters to be weaker and in more danger as they are fighting close to monsters.

I only post these because it helps keep your thread active and to give people things to talk about. I don't know whether this is true or whether Yosh is just a big fan of the series. I'm inclined to believe it could be there though.
