Lets hope the increase in XBoxe sales gets some of the software pre orders in the list too, damn PS4 is still dominating, nice to see zelda listed!

Hmm, maybe the current software positions suggests the majority of XB1S sales are replacements...

Someone should've indexed Gamestop trade-in prices from before E3.

Might also be that the Windows10-Xbox cross buy stimulates digital content on the Xbox One

I miss the vita :(

There's still quite a gap between the ps4 and Xbox One in the US, over 1.7 million I think. I fully expect the S to give the Xbox a nice boost, but that's not going to vanish overnight.

SO the xb1s comes out the last of AUG?

I think the better question is can the XB1 S maintain performance after launch? Once the novelty factor wears off, it comes down to the software keeping the baseline high. I'm confident Forza Horizon 3 will do very well, but I'm shaky with ReCore and Gears 4.

Gears 4 should do pretty well. Recore will do alright but it's releasing on a pretty packed month(FH3,FFXV,Destiny Expansion). But it will have the holidays right around the corner to help it out sales wise.

The Slim seems to be doing well at Gamestop and Amazon http://www.gamestop.com/browse

but it's pretty low down best buys list http://www.bestbuy.com/site/searchpage.jsp?cp=1&searchType=search&st=consoles&_dyncharset=UTF-8&id=pcat17071&type=page&sc=Global&nrp=&sp=-bestsellingsort%20skuidsaas&qp=&list=n&iht=y&usc=All%20Categories&ks=960&keys=keys

Yeah, I hear you. I'm sure Horizon will critically review very well, but the last one had fairly light sales, if I remember correctly. Gears 4 will do well, but I'm not sure it's going to approach Gears 2 or 3, and I have no idea what to think about Recore. I have to admit, that was my biggest disappointment of E3, it just looked rough. I thought it would be one of those Xbox exclusives that would cater to my tastes (I only have a PS4 at the moment) but it didn't do much for me at all. I don't see it doing too well at retail.

PS4 #33.....

I think Sony needs to do something soon.

Forza is now a yearly franchise so we already know what expect from its sales, The last one did over 1 Million before the end of the year did not ?, I was thinking that Gears of War 4 would be bigger than Halo but after seeing how bad the game is placed at Amazon and how little people talked about the Trailer, I think that it will not beat Halo.

Recore is a difficult case, I don't remember the last time Xbox One had something of the genre releasing for it, Majority of the Japanese games aways skip the Xbox One so I don't know how well Recore will sell.

Sony will take June and July quite easily and August too. September is when they'll need to re-examine their strategy, if their strategy isn't already in place to reduce the price before then. Look how having a reactionary approach hasn't helped MS. They've thrown everything they can at Sony and all they've accomplished is losing money.

The PS5 Exists.

I still think that depending on the results of the next Weeks  and of the Next 2 months the PS4's price cut will be a necessity not because of the Xbox Slim (A Slim version  more expensive will not push sales forever), but to make VR  cheaper and because of the NEO.
