E3 is undoubtedly relevent to everyone but one singular developer/manufacturer/platform. They know who they are. And even then, a presence is still maintained.

Yes. Nothing explodes the gaming industry more than an E3 event.

Nintendo isn't the only company pulling away from E3, guys.



Considering digital events and announcements are becoming bigger and bigger, I think it will shrink in importance in time, but this kinds of events are always important.

Very much so. Not as much as before I guess, but it's still at least 80% as before. Nintendo decreasing their E3 offerings will only hurt them in the longrun, Considering the fact that they have a new console coming up with almost no details besides a release date and a codename.
