Thats great news for those who want it.

Cant see myself buying it since its like a Minecraft type of game.....

Having played the demo I think its a lot better. MC is a better open world, do as you please game. DQB is smaller in scope but has a far more direct purpose.

I am not sure what it is about MC you don't like but the feeling of direction and purpose made me enjoy my time with DQB more so than I have with MC. If there is an English demo, give it a go.

And if Square Enix launched Dragon Quest Heros for a plataform where it sold just 28k in 6 Months, of course they would sell much more releasing it for the NX.

At what price exactly? Porting is not exactly free, nor is licensing the game for NX and for a Western release. if DQH sold so little in that time frame, you think the game is going to do even that much on a newly released NX console?

I am sure SE will port DQ to NX, but that has nothing to do with the West but rather because of Japan.

The game sold 28k in 6 Months on PC and i think that it had a sales some week between those 6 months (nothing too big just 45-50US$ Instead of 60US$) I'm sure Dragon Quest Heros sold well on the west and atleast some Hundred of Thousands units if they made a port for a plataform where they sold 28k of course they can port the game for the NX because the console can sell Multiple times this in the Launch week alone.

Hopefully a physical European release might happen on Vita. More because I can't bring myself to pay full retail for digital titles but want to get this day of release.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

I also have a toaster, but that doesn't mean I enjoy playing games on it.

So what's wrong with playing this on your ps4?

You wouldn't understand.

That depends on what NX even is. If it's going to be a pain for them to port it then they aren't going to.

Bet with Adamblaziken:

I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.

This game would be better if it had mutiplayer

On topic: Builders looks like it will be awesome, and a nice DQ tide over until DQXI comes out. DQXI will likely be one of the best RPGs on the PS4, and after DQIX lacked in multiple ways due to being jammed on the DS exclusively, it will be nice to see a potentially DQVIII tier release again. Okay, that's a little off topic, but the point is that Builders will scratch that DQ itch.

Off topic: It isn't as if DQXI won't come to the NX, but honestly, we should all recognize it is a little up in the air. I assume we won't hear anything definitively until SE sees if the system is gaining traction or not. If DQXI launches before the NX, you can basically guarantee it won't be coming to NX unless Nintendo pays the porting costs seeing as anybody that really wanted it would have gotten the PS4 or 3DS version already. If it launches after, there's a chance. If Nintendo lines up the NX launch with DQXI and lands it on the system, it could probably give a push to first week sales in Japan, at the least.

Either way, I'm just excited that we are getting a beautiful, home console, numbered DQ game again. It has been way too long. I'm also glad Builders is coming over, since DQ is slowly gaining traction in the West, and more DQ is better. Sales in the rest of the world are still pitiful compared to Japan for the series, and it would be nice to see that change to speed up localization decisions and overall time.

Based on what? You are just assuming that whatever costs to port it to NX will magically be made back at a singnificant enough number for hte port to make sense.

PC porting makes sense since its a huge potential market for Japanese publishers looking to expand out of the slowing JPN market (in addition to the increase in the Asian market - surprise that is also a major PC market).

There are lot of logistics that will go into whether a port to NX will make sense.

LoL the game was a flop of extremely high proportions (on the PC Version), the game only sold 28k in 6 Months, Dragon Quest is one  of the most popular Third Party Franchises of the Japanese Home Console market if not the most, How much money do you guys think that they  spent in the PC Version ? the NX would not be different and the game would sell Hundreds of Thousands on NX and on Japan alone.

And of course port Dragon Quest for the NX is better for their $$$$$ than launching for PC, you seem to overestimate the Potential of the PC Market  of course infinite potential lies within it but the game flopped and does not matter if there are 200-300-400 Millions of Steam's Users less than 30k Purchased it and even if NX only sell 10 Millions much more people would purchase it.

The ps4 controller is excellent.  the game runs well on ps4 too. It's frame rate is decent.

If you've such a problem with the ps4 when did you buy it or why don't you sell it?
