Still to this day remember playing System Linked Halo with 2 giant 32" CRT's back to back in my old parents place, one team on each TV in Team Slayer, so much fun.
Now still though I live near a good few of my gaming buddies and others are less than an hour away so we often schedule meetups for playing things like Smash Melee and Ultra Street Fighter 4, because in reality there isn't an online option for those games which isn't 100% lag free and 1% of lag in those games ruins it.... also there isn't anything quite like sitting back after a few rounds with some Tea and chatting about stuff.... headsets just don't do that justice imo.
