Forums - Gaming - Will you be able to see E3 live this year? Why or why not

I will see E3 online, but considering Nintendo is only announcing Zelda U, I might just see the others for the multiplat announcements. Not a very entertaining E3 this year, I hope we get at least one surprise or two.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Well, I still need to see which time is each conference, but probably not.I may lose some hours of it because I may be in class, but other than that no.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

I'll be watching live just the Nintendo Zelda showcase, I plan on watching it with a couple of friends of mine and depending on how much time we have left after we get together we'll either watch before or after the Zelda gameplay the Sony conference just to keep up with the newest titles ( and delays :p ).

Admittedly I'm a big enough Zelda fan that I'll absolutely have to tune in for their presentation. Who knows, maybe there will be clues as to what the Nx is like from the gameplay footage? I imagine they'll focus on the Wii U version, but either way that's plenty to get me excited.

Outside of that, the ongoing trend of the usual big participants doing less and less... participating seems to be remaining steady. There's not too many games I'm excited to see there, but I do hope we get our first real display of all the VR games coming down the pipepline. Really, this could be the coming out showcase for VR, especially as I wouldn't be surprised if Sony really shows off the pairing of its "Morpheus" VR and "Neo" console, which will (hopefully) be very cool.

Is there much else? I'll tune in for Bethesda in the longshot that they might reveal the next installment in the Elder Scrolls franchise (it's been half a decade, at least let us know you're working on it lol), but given their penchant for announcing things mere months before release that may not happen.

So, what's my checklist looking like...

-Zelda presentation
-Slim hope for Bethesda
-Hopeful that there will be some showcasing of the VR market and more details about the Playstation Neo (so basically the Sony presentation as well)

That's mostly what I'm looking for, and if I catch wind that any of these are coming up I'll definitely tune in if possible. Only definite atm is Zelda and Bethesda.

Did I mention Zelda? I'm a tad psyched for Zelda.

...Zelda.

Everything apart from Sony, it starts 2am here, I could stay up but I'll probably just catch it first thing in the morning.

Don't ruin the moment

Currently Playing: Rocket League (PC/PS4), Dead Cells (PC)

depends on the EU time its airing.. Usually the Sony conference is like in the middle of the night for us..

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

I need to watch the MS one, to see how the hell they plan to deal with all these Xbox branded devices they re launching. Wasnt that hyped for ms e3 before all this stuff, but now Im curious about it.

So I ll be watching it.

I'll probably skip Nintendo's event this year. I want to see more than Zelda. I know I'll see Sony/MS/EA/Ubisoft, and the jury is still out on Bethesda after last year.

Somewhat related: I REALLY wish someone had good TV coverage this year. I really don't want to spend too much time staring at my laptop. I miss G4. Does anyone know if Spike TV is doing ANYTHING this year? I don't remember them doing anything last year.

Nope.

I will be working during any of the shows. During the day I'll cherry pick forum threads on any announcements and may watch a couple youtube videos. However, I'll watch the company presentations in the evening at home.
