Forums - Gaming - Wish Sony had a nostalgia initiative and brought back: Crash, MediEvil, Parappa, Ape Escape and WipEout

Crash won't happen, Activision knows that if Sony gets the rights to it, it would be like giving Mario back to Nintendo. I'm hoping for a spiritual successor for WipEout Fusion.

Nostalgia is great and all..... but if new IPs arent being explored, how can ee ever have bew classics like TLoU, Bloodborne.....etc?

What I want from Sony is Legend of Dragoon 2, or a Legend of Dragoon Remake.

I feel that Sony could theorhetically hire an indie studio to do any of those games. Though honestly, I'd prefer MediEvil to be more of a high budget title.

An indie studio did "Shadow of the Beast" so I could see that too.

Apart from Crash which is no longer owned by Somy, most of those games dont read profits. Companies wont just remake a game unless its got potential to make money. Sony even admitted that 3 out of 10 exclusives actrually make profits.

Double post.

My phone does that.

The occasional revival is nice, but if you wanted to satisfy every fanbase you'd be stuck in the past and never creating anything original any more.
