No, a great developer makes a horror game scary. I never saw running away and hiding as a fun way of playing a game.

i really hope they re-release Siren 2, its a true hidden gem. one of the best Survial horror stories in games

Its more of an Action Horror. I love those games. Dead Space, Condemned, F.E.A.R., The Last Of Us etc... Survival Horror games are just too slow for me. I do really love Eternal Darkness though, but I guess thats more of an Action Horror as well.

RE4 is a mainstream actions game with horror elements thrown in it. Nothing wrong with that, but it's stayed away from what made a horror game a horror game. That's why Capcom themselves said they were going back to their root with the next RE. Go figure.
And FYI to all, please don't take KLXVER too seriously since he's been known to be an Xbox supporter and anti-Playstation advocate. And his responses to this thread had been borderline trolling since it involves a Playstation title that produced by a Sony studio. You all have been warned.
