My shopping list consists of Neo and a new graphics card ...
| Nogamez said: Polls abit skewed if you can only vote for one console but intend to buy multiple. For my my interests lie in NX and ps4 upgrade. Wont buy another Microsoft console not a big fan off X1. Only upgrading ps4 cos it constantly spits discs out. |
That's true, but I thought adding a poll was better then not having one.
A new PC build for next year with a possible 1080 depending on what else is brought to the table. NX would be another possible investment depending on how it performs and it's tag, next year will mostly be about a new build though.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
I have a PSVR pre-ordered, I'm looking forward to learning about NX to see if I'll get one, same with Neo, but I'm less interested. I'll be looking at upgrading my PC and most likely getting a Vive, but that may be more than 12 months away.
Don't ruin the moment
Currently Playing: Rocket League (PC/PS4), Dead Cells (PC)
Oculus + 1080 those are my hardware plans the Vive would be the better choice if it would be as comfortable as the Rift. But for me its not, also I prefer the clearer picture the Oculus gives you.
PSVR is my next hardware purchase. If VR is not "a new way to play games" I don't know what is. Games I'm looking forward to for PSVR are:
RIGS
BATTLE ZONE
EVE: VALKYRIE
ARK: SURVIVAL EVOLVED
MODERN ZOMBIE TAXI CO.
ROBINSON: THE JOURNEY
ZING: THE LAND BEYOND
Why so many colons in these VR games?
Also waiting to see what the NX is going to be, but that is going to be in next year's gaming budget.

Hey! They got SONY on my amiibo! Wait a minute. Two great gaming tastes that game great together!
Switch FC: SW-0398-8858-1969
I'm gonna graduate next year so if my Financial aid for the spring semester works out the way it should based on the amount I got this semester I'll be buying an NX as a Graduation gift for myself. I only play ninty consoles so in all honesty it doesn't concern me what the NX is, I have hopes but I know its nintendo and there will be good games. Especially since I'll have a good 2-3 months before buying to see it in action an probably play it since some of my friends will get it day 1.

Already have a PS4, XOne, PSV, WiiU, and 3DS. Looking forward to NX news.
Not interested in any mid-gen upgrades or virtual reality.
| Darwinianevolution said: First of all, I'm waiting for NX news. I'm also looking to change some parts of my PC, some parts are really old. After that, I was planning to get a Vita, but the announcement of the NX, me don't having that much time to game anymore and the fact that most must-buy Vita games are coming to PC (Stein's Gate, Danganrompa 1+2...) has made me doubt that decission. |
My advice is:Unless you absolutely love the more niche JRPGs, dont buy it.Vita had a great potential, but with the library it has now, it is simply not worth the money. And as you said, many must own games of it are going to steam so, even less reason to own one.
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.
