I had one do it then reloaded and had the other do it.  It makes no difference what you choose in that conversation the first time around. 

On my second playthrough I got another option and picked that one. Im should be close to it making a difference in the story soon.

Ah, that sucks then. I hoped there would be 2 different story lines, depending on your choice.

I am in Final-3. I am short on weapons. Do I have to restart from Final-1 to use the shop again? Those damn dragons rape even the laguz kings. I didn`t know my equipped weapons would get infinite uses. I have a lot of crappy iron weapons with infinite uses.

Shall I restart from Final-1 and stock on steel and silver?

 Restart to before the End Game and bless better weapons.

How do you bless weapons?

At a certain point in the story a certain character will tell you to have everyone equip all their best weapons.  Those equipped weapons get blessed with Infinite Durability and the ability to harm certain enemies.

Ah, ok. I guess I'm not at that point yet. So the character will bless up to 6 weapons for each character?

No, the character will bless only the weapons currently equipped.
