Gran Turismo fans still have around 12 months to wait for a full sequel to appear on PS3, according to SCEA.

"Also, to further clarify, GT5 is still about a year away. You should just decide now to buy it, enjoy it, go online and race against anyone and everyone, rank number one worldwide, get the girl (or guy) and become the most popular kid in town. The end.", Chris Hinojosa-Miranda, associate producer, SCEA, has said.

The last we heard on a release date for GT5 came from the mouth of the game's director Kaunori Yamauchi who said it could be pushed back as far as late 2008. Seems he needed to add a few months on top.

Still, at least GT5 Prologue is out tomorrow.

Yeah, I predict this will come at earliest around this time next year, and more probably at the end of next year.

Take a year, hell take two. Prolog will keep me happy. I am sure when it does come out, it's going to me amazing. I can't wait to see how well the implement damage.

Think they mentioned it takes months to do 1 car or maybe it was 1 track can't recall. Honestly I think the timing is about right since it was taking them 2-3 years on the PS2 it must be 4-5 years for the PS3 to do what they want.

I was pretty sure it was going to pushed in 2009.
It is something really bad for sony because it is THE system seller of the console (outside GTA4)
FFXIII is only for 2009
and MGS4 is not enought famous/casual

It is bad but I still believe the PS3 will survive to this new delay.

GT 5 will make 2008, but only in Japan, I think we will see the game 12 months after the release of prologue in each region
However, MS2 should keep me happy this christmas
