Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Features Atlas Corporation, Uses COD 4 Animations

Well, it looks like Atlas Corporation is still operational after the demise of Jonathan Irons in Advanced Warfare. Call of Duty Infinite Warfare soldiers bear a logo that is almost identical to Atlas Corporation’s.

Call of Duty Infinite Warfare features Atlus? Check it out below.

Now either Atlas is coming back or they just borrowed textures from Advanced Warfare to reuse but were too lazy or forgot to remove the logo.

Call of Duty developers using the same textures, animations etc isn’t something new. It has been done in the past and will be done again in the future.

The latest Call of Duty trailer offers nothing that we haven’t seen before in previous iterations expect Top Gun style dog fights but it space; which is a cool and welcomed addition and we hope they take multiplayer to space as well, using massive space stations as MP maps.

The game not only borrows from Advanced Warfare, it uses animations from Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare that released almost a decade ago.

This is embarrassing for Infinity Ward and Activision.

Ghosts released back in 2013, devs had three years to develop a shooter so there is no justification for using old animations and borrowing from Sledgehammer’s Advanced Warfare.

No wonder fans are more excited about Modern Warfare remastered than Call of Duty Infinite Warfare.

Still, if you would like to pick up Infinite Warfare (for COD 4 of course), you can do so by ordering the Legacy Edition, Digital Deluxe Edition or Legacy Pro Edition.

Unfortunately, COD 4 will not be sold separately and can only be bought bundled with Infinite Warfare. We are also hearing that Modern Warfare may release a month early, a listing of Xbox Live also suggested the same.

So? You expect them to mo-cap a different death animation for every entry?

Im betting the reload animations are the same too.  Monsters.

Platinums: Red Dead Redemption, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Terminator Salvation, Uncharted 1, inFamous Second Son, Rocket League

Not that important, to be honest, they have bigger things to worry about.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

I really don't see a problem reusing animations.... why develop every animation from scratch if you have animations that already work just fine, if the animation is of a good quality it's irrelevant. If they were reusing old models that would be something else entirely, but even then if it still looks fine, fits in perfectly and does the job then why spend money creating new assets that just aren't required other then to stop people getting upset for no apparent reason.

Not an issue.

They've been doing that for years in MW3 theirs a building from one of COD4 maps

at least hide it in the official trailer

People complain about every little thing.

Thats abit lazy... but cant say I blame them.

Devs reuse assets all the time. No big deal here.
