Called in Sick went down to the game store and picked up my collectors edition. Just installing now :D
Anyone else called in sick over Uncharted 4? Or any other game?

I already finished Uncharted and didn't need to take time off.
The only time I remember missing time was when Modern Warfare 2 released; I ended up skipping the whole day of high school to play online with a few of my friends.
Last final is May 11th, my birthday is May 11th, Uncharted 4 comes out may 10th...
I'm all set
Unless I don't play U4, or get it...

Bought collectors. It's being installed as I watch GOT but no need to call sick thankfully :)
Bruh.
Eh, I can't blame ya.
"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
I'm sure you could have said to your boss "Uncharted 4 was released today" and he would have told you "take the day off and enjoy that masterpiece".

My alternator went in my car and I already missed work because of that. All in all I am out about 600 bucks, so yeah no calling off for me. =(
You enjoy though!
My local Target was selling Uncharted 4 two days ago already, so if I really wanted to I could have been playing the game all weekend. I was super tempted to buy, but then I remembered I'm broke at the moment.

I asked a question lol read the thread before commenting.
Why not just take a day or a week off? That's what I'm doing for Mirror's Edge. It's not like release dates are unpredictable that you can't plan a vacation ahead.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
