BF1's vastly more interesting setting makes it a lot more appealing to me.
If we're talking graphics, Infinite Warfare doesn't even look as good as 2011's Battlefield 3.

This is a no brainer for me. Battlefield, despite a silly name, has a much more interesting and unique setting, and its trailer grabbed my interest. The new Call of Duty looks old and tired, and its trailer will rank among mankind's most awful crimes.
I've just had a thought. One of the major shooter franchises should do a game with a historical setting, and then have Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks do the campaign.
Both COD and Battlefield have the money to make that happen, and it would be the best military shooter ever.
Bet with Adamblaziken:
I bet that on launch the Nintendo Switch will have no built in in-game voice chat. He bets that it will. The winner gets six months of avatar control over the other user.
Battlefield 1 has amazing lighting... it`s probably 720p on XB1... while the other is probably 1080PR
Anyway, as an SP player the Battlefield campagns always seemed "better" to me, as the CoD games I tried has respawning ennemies, which is just lame.... si I never played CoD more than a few minutes in, despite being interested in the setting in general... Battlefield, well, I never played one all the way to the end either, but they do keep me interested longer... I don't see why it would have changed with these new iterations!
I'll be buying both.
Battlefield 1 because it's going to be a very unique shooter set in WW1 and infinite warfare for thet cod4 remaster which is my favourite shooter ever.
Long time BF player here. Will definitely keep on the same track this time around. ;)

Proudest Platinums - BF: Bad Company, Killzone 2 , Battlefield 3 and GTA4

As someone who played and enjoyed COD for quite a few years, (and still replays the older games periodically) Infinite Warfare looks pretty shite to be honest.
The first time they did a futuristic setting with BO2, I liked it a lot, but after Advanced Warfare, BO3, and now IW, it just feels like the franchise is treading water these days. It feels stale, bland, and forgettable.
Sure, it'll still sell millions on brand name alone, but the days where COD was at the forefront of the genre in terms of quality are long gone. It says a lot that people are more excited by a 9-year-old remaster than the actual new COD.
