There are many asians who are poor though.
If you're talking about asian-americans. I dunno. Most of them before they migrated to USA have degrees that made them able to get their jobs. Basically in my country, if you can send your kids to college, you are probably well off as financially.
Some of the minorites in USA didn't have that kind opportunities like education perhaps due to their parents or ancestors faced what we call institutional racism which allowed the whites get ahead first before our POC brothers during their time.
People are probably gonna call it racist, but all cultures are not the equal. Some encourage success more than others. Asian cultures are far better at this than pretty much anywhere else. I will tell you that we mostly just have 2 main immigrant communities where i live vietnamese and Somali, and it's night and day. They both came here as refugees, but the Somali culture did not help them toward success. The Somali community came here and immediately started taking advantage of the social programs here. They have not adapted to the language or culture very well at all, and have created little ghettos in the city. We have had a number of them arrested for trying to join ISIS.

I agree to an extent that the Somali community do create their own ghetto, but where I'm from, the reason behind this and any immigrant community creating their ghetto is, the local authority moving them into that ghetto.
The area was known for drug dealing and prostitution so the city council moved all the Somali families coming in into that ghetto. The area has gone from a no go area to something I like to call little Somalia. There are cafés and social places everywhere and it is always buzzing.
A lot of the Somalians have also set up businesses in the area and around the city. Thankfully non have joined IS and are very vocals against them.
The biggest IS and AlQaeeda supporter was a very vocal white convert who used to preach in the city centre. Muslims kept asking why he hasn't been arrested and in the end (5-6 years later) it turned out the guy was undercover.

I was specifically talking about Somalia, which is totally different. I'm well aware that people from Kenya and South Africa do very well. This isn't a black vs. white issue. There are many factors, culture being one of the biggest.

Anyway, I wanted to touch on another topic but I would do this thread a disservice.

Think of the common ideas that come along with Asians: -Smart -Successful -Well behaved
Perhaps what other minorities and Muslims should do is follow the lead of Asians. Instead of complaining, why not step up and make a change?

btw more than any other region eastern Asia is used as slave labor for western industries/societies (working 12-16h a day and barely making enough to live day to day is slavery, no way around that), because they are so nice and obedient
Wow that's extremely racist. Races should in no way be compared and contrasted like that.
