Well, CoD and AC showed that identical games can be produced, so I hope this trend continues. However, this game was made with seperate dev teams for each platform, which is why it is optimized for each, instead of porting from 360 to PS3

I keep asking myself, could the developers have gone beyond what they managed to achieve on the PS3? Or is it all a lie?

There will not be a difference between the 2 consoles graphical capabilities at all this gen. And if there is it's slight and we wont see the difference. Ubisoft are full of SH*T about Splinter Cell Conviction.PS3 has a faster CPU. And 360 has a faster GPU.Lets end this sh*t now.

Excuse my ignorance, but why? what did they say?

I agree on the graphics this gen.

Listen to the voice of reason, then do as I say.

Not saying they aren't equivalent, but gametrailers comparisons tend to be pretty worthless.

Who really knows where things will go in the future... its not just the systems themselfs but to a large degree the devs who make or break the visuals... maybe in a year or two devs for PS3 exclusive games will leave the 360 behind visually... but as you sayed I doubt it will be by much... as a 360 owner I of course hope it will improve as well but we will just need to wait and see...

It was mainly Leo's comment. Sony were filing PR BullSH*t pre release. 360 has proven itself a contender and continues to improve graphically. Both consoles do. There wont be a difference.(This is where MikeB comes in and starts his Tech talk. Which has as many holes as my socks.) LOL

good to see devs putting effort into both platforms. Not just 360 and then doing an okay job for PS3.
