no they did not. but they stopped talking about ps3 and reporting sales in april 2015.
they just let the ps3 die silent.

Sure.  But you did say "One of the best consoles ever." in regards to the Xbox 360 while responding to another post in regards to the PS2's lifespan.  So one could logically argue that the PS2 was also one of the best because of its lifespan on the market.  It's a fair accessment given the conversation within this thread

i doubt many disagree on that opinion, that the ps2 was one of the bests consoles ever.
it's the tone of your posts. it sounds like ps2 was better in its lifetime compared to the xb360 and that's the reason is was in production one year longer

Pretty crazy to think that it's over a decade now.

Microsofts best console. Hardly a point to keep on with production with xbone having backwards compatibility. Not my favourite console of the 7th gen but it sure did make sony get off there smug throne and get to producing games. Im ready for the bargin bin 360 games. Yesss!
