I think stealth is going to be woven into the gameplay properly this time so if you're good at stealth (in other words patient) you should be good to go.

Ratchet and Clank style, run and gun. Can't hit me when I counter strike jump around, jump around.
A mix of all three, as i will be playing it on hard mode, i just cant see myself going Rambo on the enemies so i have to give a thought in every encounter.
I cant fucking wait to play the 2016 GOTY.
Ive seen the madagascar videos of gameplay, from like 10 differnt people playing the game.
The ones that did best, and pulled it off looking the best imo where those that played it stealthy.
I think your supposed to play it as a mix of stealth & cover.
Take out as many as you can, via stealth, and then once discovered do the rest cover style.

Killing the waves of enemies with bullets from cover until they die from it
Running and gunning mostly. Like the series is supposed to be played.
