EEDAR might be more reliable in its estimates than VGC if it's getting information from corporates like EA. Though didn't EA estimate 20 million at roughly the same time as VGC got Xb one to 20 million?

3DS is massive undertracked. I mean, there is no way for an almost 9m gap between sales and shipments.

Not to mention this seem even less likely if you use official numbers from Media Create and NPD for Japan and USA..

Goes to show how good video game analysts are. It's okay to be off with some estimates, but when there is actual shipment data freely available and an estimate is this far off, then how much trust can put someone in anything else they say?

What is funny is that they could just ignore 3DS / PSV as portable console and just release their 8gen / 7gen home estimate, which all considering can seem accurate, while is obvius 3DS is way off.

 

Though that 20 million XBO looks so strange. Is seriusly super rounded to 20 million. The other are rounded for 1K...

So I guess the PS4 isn't quite at the 2:1 gap yet. :D



Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).
