Even Sony wants NX rumors now

I like the NX pepperings in there. Well done.

The idea that we are starting to get excited about season pass sales is a bit... disconcerting.

For what you get with certain passes,  some of these deals are excellent value.

It is the same sale as last week, pity the sales are now always two weeks.

Oh I agree, and if I were in the EU I would probably pick up one or two.  It does show the progression of the industry though.  First we swear to hate all things DLC, now we are rejoicing when that DLC is on sale.

I actually loved the idea of dlc from the start and still love it.  I'm not part of the pc brigade that shouts down everything.

I am in that same boat.  I much prefer the idea of paying 60 bucks for the game and then having the option to shell out more if I want to.  Much better option than base prices going up to cover rising production costs.

Yeah and at the same time I understand frustrations with the lack of content at launch with games like battlefront,  Splatoon etc but many of them get more then enough post launch in the form of free updates.

Like battlefront has received enough extra maps now for free plus a season pass that works out at $12.5 per expansion.  Yet there was out cry over it.

That's just typical gamer entitlement.  Same as when someone complains about wanting everything on the disc unlocked at the time they start playing the game.  Some stuff is deliberately held back.  Welcome to the new generation of gaming.  Cosmetic stuff and stuff not crucial to the story is locked.  You want it you pay more.
