Polygon (grantourismo) - is this supposed to be serious?

It's Polyphony Digital and Gran Turismo.

Polygon is another thing XP

Ok, faith in VGchartz restored.  It's only the best selling franchise in Sony's stable...fucks sake.

If they can lay this to rest I'd much prefer that.

But if Sony wanted to continue, I'd pick Ready at Dawn.

Sony Bend seems like an obvious choice since they made the Vita but their portable version didn't quite have the same touch as ND and felt different.

Ready at Dawn on the other hand worked on the portable God of War games and playing them felt like playing a mainline GoW game. They seem to know how to adapt very well into existing IPs. And after The Order 1886 fiasco I think they should deserve another chance. It's not like The Order was a bad game, just lacking in depth, but it was a new IP so that's different than following an existing IP.

How the hell have none of you corrected the OP yet? Polygon is a shitty blogging site. Polyphony Digital, is the developer of Gran Turismo, owned and operated by Kazunori Yamauchi.

Nah mate, Polyphony Digital is owned by Sony.

Nah mate, Polyphony Digital is owned by Sony.

Kazunori still operates it :P

And the OP is still horribly wrong.

Naughty Dog should get bigger, so that they might continue with Uncharted.

I don't want it to be continued, it's reaching a true conclusion with this one. Now a new Jak and Daxter on the other hand...

I'm guessing people were just not giving the poll too much atention, because how could it be nobody noticed that before I did XP

It only took me this long, because I wasn't bored enough read the thread.  No offense to the OP, I just don't care to think about the future of the Uncharted franchise (beyond what ND considers the end), at present.  But yeah, confuse Polyphony Digital with Polygon and my blood starts to effin boil.  Polyphony is actually a service to the world.  Polygon is a blight on humanity.

Why is Ninja Theory even here? They make hack n slash games, and aren't even the best at the genre. Santa Monica Studio and Platinum Games would be much better fit to develop Uncharted games, though I think Sony Bend and Ready At Dawn will be the best.

Sony Bend has already made an Uncharted game, which I've heard was pretty good and since it was their first attempt they can improve.

Ready At Dawn is a master at taking IP's made by other devs and making it their own. They have made fantastic spin-offs in both Jak and Daxter and God Of War series, so I think they would be the best fit. Plus they also have experience making TPS games with good gameplay mechanics and gorgeous graphics, so they would be the best bet.

PS Ready At Dawn is comprised of former Naughty Dog employees so there's that!

Didn't they say they would be ok with someone else working on it not that they want someone us to work on it? Seems very different to me. Either way I would be ok with the series just ending. Don't pull an MS and just keep releasing titles because they are financially successful.

I'm glad that Naughty Dog has decided to wrap up their run with the Uncharted franchise, and I hope that Sony doesn't try to keep it going with another developer. With that said, if I had to pick between the ones listed in the poll, I would say SIE Bend Studio would be the most likely to work on a new uncharted game, although their team would have to grow tremendously to handle the increase in scale of a console-sized Uncharted game.
