Forums - Nintendo - What do you like more? My Nintendo rewards or Club Nintendo

You are comparing a program that has more than 5 years of existence, with one that has less than 1 month.Give it 1 year and then compare. Not every reward program can start giving out high-profile games for free out of the gate. And My Nintendo will probably get really good when NX comes out

So then we should not expect anything from the NX either right? Give it a year before they do anything with it. Nintendo has that knowledge of what worked and what didnt with Club Nintendo. Whenever you open something up it should be with a bang.

two different things. One is a console that a company is convincing you to spend your money on it.The other one is a reward program that you can use for free and with Miitomo, you can get coins also without spending money.

I dont think that My Nintendo started bad.It has some interesting offers, like some discounts such as 40% off for Splatoon, its just nothing mind-blowing.Plus the only really good rewards that Club Nintendo had was once a year, with a few exceptions.Saying that My Nintendo is dissapointing just because they didnt give Mario Kart 8 or Bayonetta for free as an option is not resonable.I mean, they could have done it and we all would love it, but they are a company and need to balance the reward through the months.Soon enough the option to get better games for free and physical goods. Also coins for game purchases, both physical and digital, should come too, though I only expect that one to come later, maybe with NX.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Definitely My Nintendo. I don't give a shit about Physical Items.

I am actually eligble for My Nintendo rewards so that automatically wins

My Nintendo, because I'm more interested in games discounts, and free games than... merchandising.

Thankyou! Both on your points!

And when the NX comes, Nintendo might actually put a lot of offers on Wii U and 3DS games. Or after the sequel of it on the NX comes.

So far Club Nintendo. I have a bunch of miitomo coins and plat coins, but have nothing to use them on. I don't really want TP Picross either. I want some more rewards >: T

Can't really compare the two at My Nintendo's current state.

I really did like some of Club Nintendo's physical rewards tho, and I can't exactly say that I am going crazy over some of the My Nintendo digital stuff.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

So far, it's definitely Club Nintendo, but to be fair, My Nintendo has just started. I'm sure that My Nintendo will be better over time.

My Nintendo by far. I don't care about redeeming pencil sharpeners and pencil bags with pictures of Mario on them though, I care about playing games, so I have a bias.

Still, it's superior to CN in pretty much every way. It just sucks if you're not digital-only yet because you're missing out on the real part of the program, a problem that will be amended when you get the NX.
