For the past two years, Nintendo has made an E3 Direct instead of a live press conference like they did before 2013. Whether Nintendo may continue to do another E3 Direct is uncertain, but it is possible they may do another sketch regardless of the presentation type!

Since the last year presentation tied in withStar Fox (even the original Star Fox on SNES had a muppet on its boxart!) I predict this sketch will revolve around Zelda U/NX. And since fans found similarities between Zelda U's 2014 trailer to Princess Mononoke, maybe we can see a Ghibli x Nintendo sketch :-O ??? (In my dreams probably....) Or maybe a Disney collab because Zelda is heavily inspired by Peter Pan? 

What do you guys think? What will be the E3 2016 Nintendo sketch if there is one?

I liked the Robot Chicken one a lot, so I hope something in that vein. Something new would be more original though.

Since NX will be a "New Thing" / A New Generation for Nintendo. I think they will keep it modern. Especially if they are going to talk about the Hardware of the NX and How the controllers will function. + All of the NX functionalitys.

I think I recall someone once suggesting that Nintendo should use the South Park style animation style for E3 2016, which I wouldn't mind at all. xD

Star Trek to symbolize a Next Generation!!!! (the new President can be Cpt Picard.)

This may not be entirely impossible since South Park did an episode of Cartman waiting for the Wii to release. The creators also got the system for free from Nintendo because of the episode xD https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Go_God_Go#Nintendo.27s_response

And the Okama Gamesphere is obviously a reference to the Gamecube. And their Chinpokemon episode.

I think going with yet another medium would be cool. Like 2D animation or something.

It'll be Linked to Legend of Zelda, so 2d animation might be what we get.
