2D platformer all the way. Nobody does it better than Nintendo.

When I play 3D Mario I just feel like i rather play other 3D games that are more fun.

U boy... I'd probably say Mario Sunshine? The FLUDD was always something I loved about it. It added new types of challenged on top of already the good Mario platforming people are used to. It's one I love to revisit every now and then.
