Forums - Gaming - Prediction: FF7 Remake will be 3 parts, each 20-25 hour long, Final Part to feature new scenario and conclusion

Title. Prediction.

Part 1 ends with that scene, release: late 2017

Part 2 ends at Mideel, Cloud recovered, release: 2019

Part 3 last part of game + new material, release: late 2020, PS5 Compilation disc with all chapters, shorter game than the others

Each part will feature new quests, along with expanded universe stuff. I think those are cut off points with a great climax in the conclusion for Part 1 and 2. Part 3 is where most of the new plot devices  and expanded universe will be introduced.

What u think.

Sounds good to me.

Square pretty much said with all lettes the games will each eb as big as a FFXIII game, so no 20-25 hours, more like 40-50 or so.

I hope they don't make the idiotic change some people want of a particular girl not dying...also it would be nice if the included some stuff from the spinoffs.

A new conclusion is a given, obviously. They have to accomodate the epilogue better for Advent Children.

So, they have cut the game in 2 parts, 60 € each and the last part is just the ending and new material? What the fuck? I wouldn't complain if there were 2 parts.

Well, I'll wait and see if that expanded universe is worth it.

Would suck in my opinion. The format, not the game as a whole(including the 3 parts)

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Reminds me of The Hobbit trilogy a little.

bet: lost

And, fuck, give at least the option to play it with the ATB system. I know, that won't happen. I hate the moment the gaming industry decided that turn-based games are not longer profitable (or God knows what).

I understand how you feel. I personally like the change but I get it. I wish they would have updated the RE remakes to the 4,5,6 style of gameplay. I know that would have pissed a lot of people off to though.
