Microsoft has just announced that Gears of War 4 launches on October 11th. That's in 6 monthes! Xbox One owners have to wait 6 monthes for their next game. It appears to me that Microsoft has given up on the Xbox One. They are going to replace it ASAP. With the NX launching in 2017 I guess the chances are very high to also see the next Xbox in 2017. Another indicator is that Microsoft is bringing almost all of their games to PC because they don't sell well on the Xbox One. The Xbox One is not Microsoft's future.

Edit:Okay, Ill elaborate.Xbox is selling well, and even Sony dosent release every 2 months a first party game.So there is no need to burn themselves and release a new consoles after 3 years lol

Xbox One can't just be replaced like that.

Yeah... best LineUp with Fable Legends being cancelled, Scalebound delayed until 2017 and ReCore, Quantum Break, Sea of Thieves and Gears of War 4 coming to PC.

Putting out another System won't fix any of their problems. They need games, many, many games.

Nope. No Xbox 1.5. I mean the next Xbox. The successor to the Xbox One. The next console. The Fourth Xbox.

At the NX launch, the Xbox One runs the risk to become the weakest, potentially least popular current gen console. I think MS will fight that tooth and nail though with huge Black Friday fire sales (Cutting X1 bundles to $200 etc)



I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

And if you would've read your title, it says "Bold Prediction: The Xbox One will be replaced simultaneously with the Wii U", not "Bold Prediction: The Xbox One will be replaced in 2017".
