Are you serious? I noticed all this before that video was even out. Tbh it was much worse than they showed because they didnt even take the plates or the collision detection frame rate drops into account. There were side jumping portions in the demo. If you went and did those you would see it performs even worse than what DF showed.

They didn't even mention the low res textures.

Should be better in the final game but some of the demo screenshots don't look that good, especially when zoomed in D:

Look at that building in the skyline. Its an effin square with a super low res texture and no lighting. And this isn't the worst. I almost feel like booting up the demo again just to show you how much worse it was in the water city but i already deleted it. Now go and show me something like that on the witcher 3 or even Dragon age inquisition wich is a cross gen game. That is effin sloppy work. Completely unnaceptable. The final game better not have anything of the sort or reviews are gonna drill it a new one.

Have yet to try the demo myself, guess I'll have to look out for this while playing.

You honestly won't have to look very far. I hadn't seen anything talking about the demo before I played it, and it was still really obvious that the demo isn't running well.

That isn't necessarely true. I have bought games before due to good demo's.

The important point here is a good demo vs a bad demo. A bad demo is gonna hurt sales. A good demo is gonna help sales. The problem publishers have is that they can't tell what they are gonna get. In essence demos make bad situations worse and good situations better. So... theres more to lose from making a bad situation worse than a good situation better cause its already good.

Damn people chill. I thought this was a demo professionally made by the actual studios. Someone informed me this was quickly made by a small team.

Chillax everyone XD Look at Starfox Zero. People bashed on it for everything, but Nintendo went ahead and polished it in a few months.

Considering polishing, and since this is a small preview, I think the game will probably look much better.

HOWEVER, they did make a mistake of putting a demo like this. Making a trailer instead would have removed any potential danger to people not wanting to get the game anymore

The final game will have a stable framerate. P.S. Gaming laptops are a terrible idea and I dont know why so many people fall for them.
