Forums - Microsoft - Microsoft will combine the Windows 10 and Xbox One app stores

Okay. As long as there's still a dedicated Xbox Store -- which there is in Windows -- and software that isn't compatible with your device doesn't show up in the store by default, this should be good. I don't want to be seeing Destiny in the store on my PC, nor do I want Civilization showing up on an Xbox.

Is this new information?!? I must have misunderstood something months ago because I thought this was the plan all along.



I don't think this combination is a bad idea, as long as the Xbox still gets a proper online store, which it should

I don't know what took them so long. Unifying their W10 and XBox bussiness was something they were clearly going to do. We may take one year more to an official fusion, a XBone with a special version of W10, adapted to the console market.
