The Last of Us is definitely one, 95 critic, that came out in 2013. I'm sure there are others too.

I expected... more. Reviewers this gen are surely harsher than the previous gens.

I've probably said it a million times already but I just stopped with reviews this gen. If there is technical issues then that's different otherwise I just don't care what they have to say. Thief was one of the best stealth games I ever played and they rated it horribly this gen but I thought it was amazing if you played it pure stealth. 

Why some people think that the critics have been harsher this gen?

Is there any way to prove this?

Why nobody takes into consideration that maybe the games have been overhyped more that usual, so disappointments are the norm with bigger games?

Im not saying that it isnt true, but im really curious about what people thinks.

Mostly because the amount of lame games last gen with extremely high scores. Now there's only MGSV.

To further my point, there have been on the Ps4:

80-89 = 134 Games
90-100 = 13 Games

I think that is a healthy amount of great rated games.

I dont know how it compares with previous gens in the same timespan, but im not seeing anything wrong with that scores.

I think it's a combination of the two. Score inflation ran rampant last generation. I think the 8th gen is one big make-up call. But I also think games are simply getting worse. With intense focus on advertising budgets, pre-order numbers, and glossy graphics, publishers are setting consumers and critics up for disappointment.

Thats just your opinion, it doesnt prove anything.

MGSV was great and deserveful (does this word exist? ) of its score imo.
