Ok so watched the first Episode of Brotherhood: final fantasy xv, I actually really liked it. You can see that square is trying to build these 4 main protagonists and their friendship up, I think most people will end up really liking these 4 and will get a real good feel of their friendship. But I can also see one of these 4 dying in the latter part of the game. Square Enix has said the game could make people cry and I think it will be this that they're talking about. They're hoping to build the gamers relationship and feelings for the characters up only to break you near the end will a death.

This isn't a bad idea.  Love her voice.  "Answer" is my favorite song of the FF series.

The conference was amazing, but I doubt future FF games will get the same huge treatment.

I hope future FF games dont take ages to release like this one. This needs to make big numbers to compensate all the delay and reinventing that they did to it over and over again

"Stand by Me" by Florence and the Machine is what "My Hands" by Leona Lewis was for FFXIII. Quite an improvement in song selection if you ask me. And the cover is amazing I think. As Florence said there's not much you can do to improve such a powerful song and yet it feels so fresh and so fitting for FFXV. There's no one song that would receive unanimous approval by every fan but this is as close as it gets.

Not if it's a better song choice and a more relevant artist.

And theme songs are mostly part of the marketing push. It really only needs to stay relevant until the game is sold.

We're not talking about the whole FFXV score. Just a theme song used in trailers and like once in the whole game.
