Forums - Gaming - Where do you want GTA6 to go next?

So with word of GTA6 being development, it really has to make us wonder: what city should the next GTA be based on?

Personally, I'd like for it to be based on Honululu, Hawaii and nearby islands. It wouldn't have to be the biggest GTA ever -- the variety of terrain in the setting alone would make up for that. There would be great use in commandeering more than just cars, but also boats, helicopters, and dirtbikes (that's what makes GTA great IMO).

I don't want the series to go back to some boring  gray, old midwest City and it probably has to be a US state different from California. I wouldn't be against an international setting - but then GTA probably wouldn't satirize American culture as much (another one the great things about GTA).

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

Continental US, or if possible the Northern Hemisphere.

Considering the sales of GTAV, I think Rockstar could probably afford the risk. :)

Something tropical. The deserty look of 5 put me off from it a bit. Already lived in Cali and know how it looks, go somewhere with more oceans and islands

SPACE!!!!!

Imagine how awesome would be to steal a rocket and run away from space federation?!?!?

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Tokyo would be great, so many pedestrians...

Why not just make it the size of the World? GTA World it could be called. If they can make that space game that is coming soon or recently released that has Infinite worlds to explore, they could do this with GTA. Then a few months later release the Virtual Reality edition. You never need to finish the game. There will always be stuff to do.

Baby steps.  That's why I said the US, or Northern Hemisphere.  Either would be gigantic leaps in size over previous GTA games.  But, I agree, eventually, I hope to see a GTA meets No Man's Sky, type game...cause that'd be CRAZY.

UK or somewhere in the countryside, I'm tired of seeing the same new york style cities over and over.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

Yeah they could but it might be a couple more years until GTA6. I'm not a huge fan of GTA but if they did America I'd buy it
